Job summary

Teaching Personnel is recruiting Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to join a range of welcoming mainstream primary schools around Wednesfield, Wolverhampton. Roles are available on both full-time and part-time bases, offering flexibility to suit your availability and access to induction programmes.

As an ECT, you will deliver engaging lessons, follow the UK National Curriculum, assess pupil progress, and collaborate with school staff.

Qualifications

• Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Are Early Career Teachers (ECTs), recently qualified teachers, or those completing their induction.
• Have a genuine passion for teaching and supporting children's learning.
• Demonstrate strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Are enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed to delivering high-quality education.
• Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or are willing to obtain one.
• Can provide two professional references covering teacher training placements and/or recent employment.

Responsibilities

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the UK National Curriculum.
• Creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Managing classroom behaviour to maintain a productive learning atmosphere.
• Assessing, monitoring, and adapting teaching to support pupil progress.
• Working collaboratively with teaching staff, support staff, and senior leaders.
• Building positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
• Supporting children's academic, social, and emotional development.
