Guardian Homecare is seeking Learning Disability Support Workers to join our Basildon team, supporting service users across Basildon and surrounding areas with person-centred care and empowerment of independence.

We offer flexible shifts seven days a week, full-time and part-time roles, paid training and mileage allowance to cover travel between visits. Join us to make a meaningful difference while enjoying career opportunities and security.

Qualifications

• Must have a positive attitude, reliability and drive to champion independence.
• Driving Licence is strictly required due to community-based work across Basildon SS13/SS14/SS15.

Responsibilities

• Empowering independence by helping individuals develop essential life skills.
• Community access to college, shopping, hobbies and social activities.
• Personal care support with bathing, dressing and grooming as required.
• Medication support including reminders and administration.
• Emotional support to encourage confidence and self-esteem.
