Essex Cares Limited is seeking Learning Disabilities Support Workers in Basildon to deliver personalised plans and holistic support for adults with learning disabilities and/or autism. You will help individuals gain independence and confidence through practical and emotional support, including daily living tasks and social inclusion.

Travel across Essex for training and postings is required; full induction and ongoing training are provided, with a range of benefits and career development

Qualifications

• Passionate about providing high-level care and support to adults with learning disabilities and/or autism.
• Exceptional listening and communication skills.
• Empathetic approach and willingness to provide personal care.
• Proactive, able to work on your own initiative and flexibly according to needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a personalised plan to support individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism.
• Provide practical, emotional and social support to help achieve outcomes such as independence and life skills.
• Assist with daily living tasks, personal care and eating/drinking.
