Job summary

Evolve Childcare Limited, part of the Fusion Group, operates in a rural setting near Wellington, Somerset, delivering high-quality residential care for children and young people. We are seeking a Residential Support Worker to provide day-to-day care, support, and stability within our homes.

You will help children and young people develop confidence, resilience, and positive life experiences, working with a dedicated team in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• A caring, patient, and resilient approach.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to work as part of a team in a challenging but rewarding environment.
• Full UK driving licence (essential) — access to a company vehicle is provided during work.

Responsibilities

• Providing a safe, caring, and nurturing home environment.
• Building positive and trusting relationships with children and young people.
• Supporting emotional wellbeing and encouraging personal development.
• Acting as a positive role model and helping children overcome challenges.
• Supporting day-to-day household tasks including cooking, cleaning, and maintaining the home environment.
• Transporting children to appointments, education, and activities.
• Working collaboratively within a highly regulated and professional care setting.
