Howes Percival LLP is seeking a Solicitor to join the Employment Team in Cambridge or Norwich. This role offers a great path to grow with a team that values client relationships and career development.

You will advise on a wide range of employment law matters, support senior lawyers on tribunal claims, draft and review employment documentation, and contribute to business development while delivering practical, commercially-focused advice.

Qualifications

• Experience advising on a broad range of employment law matters.
• Ability to manage client relationships and provide commercially-focused advice.
• Experience drafting and reviewing employment contracts and related documents.

Responsibilities

• Advise employers and employees on employment law matters including contracts and policies.
• Support senior lawyers on complex tribunal claims and case preparation.
• Manage a caseload of straightforward matters with appropriate supervision.
• Draft and review employment-related documentation and settlement agreements.
• Provide practical, commercial advice aligned with client objectives.
• Assist clients with day-to-day HR queries and relationships.
• Conduct legal research and stay updated on legislation and case law.
• Build and maintain client relationships through excellent service and communication.
• Contribute to business development and client seminars.
