Job summary

Clayton Legal is supporting a leading Employment Law firm to recruit an experienced Employment Solicitor. The role involves managing a diverse caseload of contentious and non-contentious matters, advising employers, employees, and executives on complex issues.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years PQE in Employment Law, strong drafting and negotiation skills, and a commercial, client-focused mindset. Flexible/hybrid working options are available within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years PQE (or equivalent) in Employment Law.
• Strong technical knowledge and up-to-date understanding of employment legislation.
• Excellent communication, drafting, and negotiation skills.
• Commercial and client-focused approach.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Handle complex tribunal matters from start to finish.
• Draft contracts, policies, and handbooks for clients.
• Advise on discrimination, redundancy, TUPE, and disciplinary/grievance issues.
• Support corporate transactions with employment due diligence.
• Provide high-quality client service and build lasting relationships.
