Job summary

LC Legal in Manchester is seeking an experienced Employment Solicitor (4+ PQE) to join its growing team. You will work on a varied caseload across contentious and non-contentious matters, advising HR leaders, senior management and boards on strategic employment matters.

You’ll have genuine responsibility for your own matters, supported by Partners, with hybrid and flexible working, mentoring opportunities, and a clear path for progression as the team expands.

Qualifications

• 4+ years PQE as an Employment Solicitor.
• Ability to manage a varied caseload across contentious and non-contentious matters.
• Experience advising HR leaders, senior management and boards on strategic employment matters.

Responsibilities

• Handle high-value tribunal and non-contentious matters.
• Lead on executive appointments and exits.
• Advise on restrictive covenants, TUPE, settlements and day-to-day employment advisory work.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an Employment Solicitor at 4yrs+ PQE to join their expanding team.

The opportunity

You’ll work on a varied and interesting caseload across both contentious and non-contentious employment matters, including:

• High-value Employment Tribunal claims, including whistleblowing, discrimination and unfair dismissal
• Senior executive appointments and exits
• Restrictive covenants and confidential information matters
• Restructures, redundancies and TUPE
• Settlement agreements and day-to-day employment advisory work
• Urgent injunction applications and other complex employment issues
• Advising HR leaders, senior management and boards on strategic employment matters

You’ll have genuine responsibility for your own caseload while working alongside experienced Partners and colleagues within a supportive and collaborative team.
