Law Staff Legal Recruitment are working with a Top 200 client seeking an Employment Solicitor (2-5 years PQE+) to join their highly regarded team in Milton Keynes. You will handle a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious employment work and benefit from a supportive environment and hybrid working.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years PQE+ with solid experience advising on day-to-day HR and employment law issues.
• Experience drafting employment contracts, policies, and staff handbooks.
• Proven experience handling Settlement Agreements, redundancy matters, and Employment Tribunal claims.
• Experience supporting corporate transactions with employment law input, including TUPE and due diligence.
• Exposure to both claimant and respondent employment work.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and marketing skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical, day-to-day advice to clients on a broad range of HR and employment law matters.
• Draft and review employment contracts, workplace policies, and staff handbooks.
• Advise on and manage Settlement Agreements, redundancy processes, and Employment Tribunal claims.
• Support corporate transactions by delivering employment law input, including TUPE advice and due diligence.
• Handle a diverse caseload with exposure to both claimant and respondent employment matters.
• Undertake advocacy in court, chambers, and tribunal settings where appropriate.
• Contribute to business development initiatives, client training sessions, and marketing activities.
• Build strong client relationships and develop new contacts for the team and firm.
