Job summary

Clayton Legal is seeking an ambitious Employment Solicitor to join a modern, supportive team in a flexible/hybrid environment. You will handle a diverse caseload for employers, employees and senior executives, spanning contentious and non-contentious matters with a focus on high-quality client service.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' PQE (or equivalent experience) in Employment Law.
• Strong technical knowledge and up-to-date understanding of employment legislation.
• Excellent communication, drafting, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload of contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
• Draft contracts, policies and handbooks; advise on discrimination, redundancy, TUPE and disciplinary issues.
• Support corporate transactions with employment due diligence; provide high-quality client service and build relationships.

Work will include:

• Handling complex tribunal matters from start to finish
• Drafting contracts, policies, and handbooks
• Advising on discrimination, redundancy, TUPE, and disciplinary/grievance issues
• Supporting corporate transactions with employment due diligence
• Providing high-quality client service and building strong, lasting relationships

The Candidate

• 3+ years' PQE (or equivalent experience) in Employment Law
• Strong technical knowledge and an up-to-date understanding of employment legislation
• Excellent communication, drafting, and negotiation skills
• A commercial and client-focused approach
• The ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team
