Job summary

Vasto Legal Recruitment Ltd. seeks an Employment Solicitor (3+ PQE) for its Birmingham office. The role offers a balanced mix of contentious and non-contentious work, with genuinely flexible hybrid working and supportive partners.

You will manage your own caseload, advising on contracts, policies and day-to-day matters, and handling TUPE, redundancy and tribunal claims, with potential involvement in sports sector employment work.

Qualifications

Employment Solicitor (3+ PQE), Birmingham

We are working closely with a leading national law firm who are looking to hire an Employment Solicitor with 3+ PQE for their Birmingham office.

The Birmingham team is part of the firm's national employment practice, which is Legal 500 ranked across several UK regions and acts for clients across a wide range of sectors, including sports, retail, manufacturing and finance.

The team is already busy, with the majority of work coming through internal referrals, so there is a strong and steady flow of quality work from day one. They are looking for someone who can hit the ground running and manage their own caseload, with the support of experienced partners and real scope for progression.

This role would particularly suit someone who values work life balance, with genuinely flexible hybrid working and realistic target hours.

The work will include:

• A roughly even split of contentious and non-contentious employment work
• Advising employers on contracts, policies and day to day employment matters

Package

• Salary up to £70,000 (depending on experience) + benefits
• Hybrid working: 1 to 2 days in the office, the rest from home
