Job summary

Puro Associates is seeking an Employment Solicitor/Associate/Senior Associate to join their Nottingham team. The role offers the chance to work on a varied employment caseload, delivering both contentious and non-contentious matters while building long-standing client relationships.

The successful candidate will manage their own caseload and have opportunities for business development, seminars and client presentations within a supportive, growing employment team.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor status with solid Employment Law experience.
• Experience across both contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
• Excellent client care and communication skills.
• Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail.
• The ability to manage a varied caseload independently.
• A collaborative and positive approach.
• An interest in business development and building client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Draft and advise on employment contracts, policies and procedures.
• Handle disciplinary, grievance and capability matters.
• Advise on redundancy and restructuring issues.
• Manage TUPE and settlement agreements with clients.
• Represent in Employment Tribunal claims and litigation.
• Handle unfair dismissal, discrimination and whistleblowing cases.
• Advise on restrictive covenants and post-termination disputes.
• Provide day-to-day employment and HR guidance.
• Assist clients with more complex employment matters and business development.

Nottingham | Up to £80,000 + benefits

Puro Associates are currently supporting a highly regarded regional law firm with the appointment of an Employment Solicitor to join their growing team in Nottingham. This is an excellent opportunity for an Employment Solicitor looking to join a supportive and established team, with the opportunity to work on a varied caseload and develop strong client relationships.

The role would suit a solicitor with approximately 2–8 years' PQE, although applications from candidates outside of this range will also be considered depending on experience.
