Qualifications

• Senior Associate or Partner with strong background in employment law.
• Experienced in both contentious and non-contentious matters.

Responsibilities

• Advising employers on all aspects of employment law.
• Handling complex contentious cases including discrimination and tribunal claims.
• Drafting service agreements and advising on restructures.
• Advising on restructures, TUPE, redundancies and senior exits
• Delivering training and seminars to clients on HR and employment issues
• Driving business development, strengthening existing relationships and building new ones
• Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers and supporting team development

The Role

The firm is seeking a Senior Associate or Partner-level Employment Lawyer to play a leading role in its Nottingham office. This is a strategic hire, offering the chance to manage and grow a high-quality employment practice, act for a broad mix of clients, and contribute to the firm’s continued success.

Key Responsibilities

• Advising employers and senior executives on all aspects of employment law
• Handling complex contentious cases, including discrimination, whistleblowing and tribunal claims
• Drafting and negotiating service agreements, policies, contracts and settlement agreements
• Advising on restructures, TUPE, redundancies and senior exits
• Delivering training and seminars to clients on HR and employment issues
• Driving business development, strengthening existing relationships and building new ones
• Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers and supporting team development
