Job Description
We seek a knowledgeable and proactive Employment Lawyer to join our legal team.
In this role, you will provide expert legal guidance on all aspects of employment law, ensuring our organization remains compliant with all relevant regulations and fostering a positive workplace environment.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting business in best practices for employee relations and with complex employment terminations in different jurisdictions;
- Reviewing and drafting employment contracts, policies, and employee handbooks;
- Providing legal counsel on workplace issues such as discrimination, harassment, and wrongful termination;
- Conducting internal investigations of employment related legal complaints;
- Ensuring compliance with all labor laws and regulations, including personal data protection (GDPR and other);
- External/Internal Compliance risks identification and management; Legal support of different audits; Due Diligence;
- and performing other duties as may reasonably be required in alignment with the purpose of the role.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in law from an acknowledged European university.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in an international company in the employment law area.
- Strong understanding of Europe employment regulations, including Personal Data Protection (GDPR).
- Proficiency in legal research, document interpretation, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
- Excellent knowledge of Business, Contract Employment and Social Security Law, Personal Data Protection and regulation of international business activity.
- Ability to work under limited supervision and accept personal responsibility for task completion.
- Advanced command of legal English. Reading, writing, and speaking.
