Job summary

Government of The United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Employment Hub Manager to lead and develop a team delivering employment support services for local residents. You will drive collaboration with employers and providers to create pathways into work and tailor support to individual needs.

The role focuses on managing day-to-day operations, monitoring KPIs, and implementing innovative approaches to overcome barriers to employment, with hybrid working where appropriate and generous leave

  • Experience managing employment hubs or similar programmes.
  • Proven ability to drive performance against targets.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement with employers and training providers.

  • Identify employment opportunities and create pathways into work for residents.
  • Monitor performance against targets and key performance indicators.

  • Promote the Employment Hubs across the community and increase participation.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced, passionate and driven Employment Hub Manager to lead our Employment Hubs and support local residents to access sustainable employment opportunities. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a dedicated team build strong relationships with employers and help people overcome barriers to work. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality employment support services that improve outcomes for residents and contribute to the local economy. As Employment Hub Manager, you will lead the day-to-day operation of the Employment Hubs, ensuring residents receive tailored support to develop skills, gain confidence and successfully move into employment. You will manage and motivate the team, develop employer partnerships, oversee performance and ensure services are responsive to local labour market needs. You will

  • Drive the delivery of employment and skills programmes to achieve positive outcomes for residents.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local employers, training providers and community organisations.
  • Identify employment opportunities and create pathways into work for residents.
  • Monitor performance against targets and key performance indicators.
  • Develop innovative approaches to addressing barriers to employment.
  • Promote the Employment Hubs across the community and increase participation.
  • Work collaboratively with internal departments and external partners to maximise opportunities for residents.
