Rhondda Cynon Taf Council is seeking a Connect to Work Employment Specialist to support individuals facing barriers to employment within the Work and Skills Team. The role focuses on empowering participants to build confidence, identify career goals, and secure sustainable employment across Tonypandy and surrounding areas.

• Experience engaging with individuals who have multiple barriers to employment.
• Experience with partnership working and inter-agency networking.
• Experience maintaining records, databases, and monitoring systems.
• Knowledge of welfare reform, benefits, and employment-related support services.

Responsabilidades

• Manage a caseload of participants and provide personalised, one-to-one employment support.
• Develop vocational profiles, action plans, and tailored support programmes.
• Deliver person-centred employment support and job coaching.
• Build relationships with employers to create employment opportunities.
• Work with health and social care partners and community organisations to create pathways into work.
• Maintain accurate records and report participant outcomes and performance information.
