Job summary

Seetec Group is seeking an Employment Adviser to support participants on their journey to employment in Bournemouth. You will coach, motivate and guide customers to overcome barriers and achieve realistic job goals.

The role focuses on delivering high-quality customer service within a 37-hour week, with office-based work and a fixed closing date for applications. Salary ranges from £26,500 to £29,545 per annum, with benefits including pension, life assurance and a healthcare plan.

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of the local labour market
• Basic IT literacy and competence with Microsoft Office
• Experience delivering services to meet contractual and quality standards

Responsibilities

• Meet and strive to exceed personal performance targets (KPIs).
• Progressively manage a caseload of referred customers to help overcome barriers to employment.
• Deliver a positive experience to new customers and ensure engagement with the programme.
• Achieve the Customer Service Standards required on the programme.
• Facilitate assessments to understand customers' circumstances, ambitions and goals.
• Provide guidance on self-employment and signpost to internal specialists.
• Co-create personalised Action Plans with SMART targets for timely progression.
• Provide tailored job-search support and interview preparation to match customers to suitable roles.
• Support customers in mastering digital technologies for guided self-service learning and vacancies.
• Ensure all evidence requirements are met to verify job starts.
• Understand the local labour market to source suitable opportunities.
• Undertake direct marketing to employers via digital channels
• Market specific customers to employers and identify recruitment needs.
• Develop relationships with stakeholders to maximise job opportunities.
• Maintain customer records to compliance and quality standards.
• Knowledge of local specialist signposting services to assist customers.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance service quality.
• Act as an employee owner and uphold company values.
• Be flexible to meet role needs, including travel and overnight stays.
• Commit to ongoing professional development and safeguarding policies.
