JMC Legal Recruitment is seeking an Employment Associate in Manchester with 1+ year PQE to join a leading national firm's award-winning Employment team.

You will work with top partners on complex employer-side matters, enjoying genuine responsibility early in your career, mentoring, client contact, and opportunities to develop both technical and business development skills.

Formación

• 1+ year PQE in Employment law.
• Experience advising on both contentious and non-contentious matters is preferred.

• Advise on a broad range of employment matters for employers.
• Support partners with litigation, restructures, TUPE and settlements.
• Provide junior-lawyer mentoring and direct client contact to develop skills.

The Role

You will work alongside nationally recognised Employment partners advising an outstanding client base ranging from high growth businesses and household name retailers through to multinational organisations and public sector bodies.

Your caseload will span a varied mix of contentious and non contentious matters including employment tribunal litigation, disciplinary and grievance matters, restructures and redundancies, TUPE, restrictive covenants, settlement agreements, executive exits and the employment aspects of corporate transactions.

The team is known for giving junior lawyers genuine responsibility from an early stage, with direct client contact, excellent mentoring from senior lawyers and real opportunity to develop both your technical expertise and business development skills.
