JMC Legal Recruitment is seeking an Employment Associate with 2+ years' PQE to join a City-based, top-tier practice. Hybrid working and excellent quality of work on offer.

You will advise predominantly employer clients on a broad range of employment matters, with exposure to both contentious and non-contentious work, and genuine client contact. There is scope to develop your own profile within the team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' PQE with employment law experience.
• Commercially minded with strong drafting and analytical skills.
• Client-focused, personable and confident in developing relationships.
• Proactive, organised and keen to take responsibility.
• Interested in building a long-term career in Employment Law.
• Comfortable contributing to business development and knowledge sharing.

Responsabilités

• Employment Tribunal claims, including case management and witness preparation.
• Disciplinary and grievance matters, TUPE and employment issues arising from transactions.
• Executive employment matters, settlement agreements, restrictive covenants and injunctions.
• Employment due diligence and drafting contracts, policies and handbooks.
• Managing your own matters with appropriate partner support.
• Contributing to client development, networking and employment-related articles and updates.

The Firm

Based in the City, this partner-led commercial law firm, advises a diverse range of UK and international clients.

The Role

This firm is looking for an Employment Solicitor with 2+ years' PQE to join its growing team.

You will work closely with two Partners and a wider team of solicitors and trainees, gaining exposure to a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters. The role offers genuine responsibility, strong client contact and the opportunity to develop your own profile within the team.

Your work will include
