TLT LLP is recruiting for a Senior/Managing Associate to join its renowned Employment team, with opportunities across Bristol, Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow, Edinburgh, or London.

The role offers work on high-quality employment matters for a diverse client base, including TUPE, settlements, and strategic advice. The team is nationally recognised and growth-focused, with opportunities to mentor junior colleagues.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor with 3+ years PQE in employment law.
• Excellent analytical, communication and organisational skills.

Responsabilités

• Discipline, grievance, restructuring and redundancy management for employers.
• Lead on Employment Tribunal claims (Respondents).
• Provide employment law support in TUPE, corporate deals and outsourcing contracts; draft documentation.
• Draft contracts of employment, consultancy agreements, staff handbooks, settlement agreements and other employment-related documents.
• Collaborate with Partners and the wider national Employment team.

Our busy Employment team continues to grow nationwide and we are recruiting for a Senior/Managing Associate to join us in Bristol, Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow, Edinburgh or London.

Many of our clients are well known names in the retail, public, and financial services sectors and we provide a full range of employment support, including in defending Employment Tribunal claims.

Your Role

As a key addition to the team, day to day you can expect to be involved with high quality, varied work including:

• Helping employers manage issues in the workplace such as disciplinaries, grievances, restructuring and redundancies
• Leading on Employment Tribunal claims (almost exclusively acting for Respondents)
• Providing employment law support in TUPE matters, corporate deals and outsourcing contracts, contract drafting and client training
• Drafting of contracts of employment, consultancy agreements, staff handbooks, settlement agreements and other employment related documentation
• Collaborating with Partners and working closely with the wider national Employment team

Your Skills & Experience

• A qualified lawyer with 3+ years PQE in an employment team
• A forward thinker, with excellent analytical, communication and organisational skills, you will be self-motivated with the ability to manage workloads and deadlines
• Commercially aware with some exposure to business development, with the ability to maintain and nurture strong client relationships
• Develop a deep understanding of your client’s business needs, and act in the best interest of the firm and the client
• Contribute to our collaborative culture, with an ambition to assist in the development of junior team members
