Job summary

The Bedford College Group is seeking a Business Engagement Lead to drive employer engagement and Apprenticeship/T-Level opportunities across Northamptonshire. You will develop employer partnerships, lead generation pipelines and secure industry placements, working closely with curriculum and support teams to deliver positive outcomes for students.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, customer service, recruitment or employer engagement with a proven ability to generate opportunities and meet targets.
• Ability to plan outreach campaigns, manage pipelines and maintain accurate CRM records.
• Strong communication, networking, influencing and negotiation skills with stakeholders at all levels.
• Understanding of Apprenticeships, T-Levels, FE sector and labour market needs.

Responsibilities

• Employer Engagement & Business Development: identify and develop relationships with employers to generate Apprenticeship and T-Level opportunities.
• Lead Generation & Opportunity Management: build a pipeline of employer leads and ensure opportunities progress.
• T-Level Industry Placement Development: source industry placements and secure partnerships.
• Relationship Management & Market Insight: share feedback and labour market intelligence to support growth.
• Performance, Compliance & Professional Standards: manage CRM records, monitor targets and uphold safeguarding etc.
