Job summary

Inspire Education Group in Peterborough seeks a Group Head of Employer Engagement to lead and transform how we collaborate with employers across the region. You will shape strategic partnerships with businesses, industry bodies and stakeholders, driving apprenticeship and work placement opportunities while supporting learners with employability skills.

Reporting to the leadership team, you will manage employer engagement, apprenticeship recruitment and work placement functions, guiding talented

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading employer engagement or commercial business development.
• Proven track record building strategic partnerships and new opportunities.
• Experience managing high-performing teams and delivering against targets.
• Excellent relationship-building, influencing and negotiation skills.
• Experience using CRM systems to manage sales pipelines and relationships.
• Understanding of workforce development, apprenticeships or skills-based provision.
• Degree-level qualification or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the Group's Employer Engagement Strategy.
• Build and maintain relationships with employers, business networks and regional stakeholders.
• Drive apprenticeship recruitment, industry placements and commercial opportunities across the Group.
• Champion the Careers Not Courses approach in curriculum development and learner experiences.
• Lead, coach and inspire a team of employer engagement and recruitment professionals.
• Use data and CRM systems to manage pipelines, forecasting and performance.
• Represent the Group at regional business events and strategic partnership meetings.
