Job summary

The Growth Company’s Employment Justice and Health team is seeking an Employer Engagement Consultant to provide a high-quality recruitment service to our Employment customers and employers in the UK. The role focuses on developing employer relationships, generating job opportunities, and coordinating recruitment activities to support people on Universal Credit through the Restart Scheme.

Qualifications

• Experience in a sales or business development role with target-driven mindset.
• Confident in building relationships with employers and stakeholders.
• Proactive and consultative approach to identify opportunities.
• Organised, customer-focused with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Warm, approachable style and rapport-building with diverse people.
• Willing to travel and attend events outside standard hours.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with employers and promote Growth Company services.
• Generate employment opportunities through direct sales, networking events, and stakeholder engagement.
• Source vacancies and match customers to opportunities via employer engagement.
• Manage employer accounts with regular reviews and support to encourage repeat business.
• Coordinate recruitment activities including vacancy ads, pre-screening, and interview arrangements.
• Build relationships with internal teams and external partners to maximise referrals.
• Monitor local labour market trends to create job opportunities.
• Maintain records and ensure compliance with operations, equality, data security and health and safety requirements.
