Job summary

ABM is seeking an Employee Relations Advisor to support the UK & Ireland, reporting to the Senior Employee Relations Manager. You will provide specialist advice, conduct investigations, and support early resolution of workplace issues across client contracts and shared services.

This role requires a degree in HR or related discipline, experience in Employee Relations, and knowledge of Irish employment legislation. You will work within governance standards and help improve employee experience.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent professional experience in Human Resources or a related discipline.
• Experience supporting Employee Relations within a large, complex or outsourced organisation.
• Working knowledge of Irish employment legislation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver timely, legally compliant Employee Relations advice and case management that enables managers to confidently resolve people matters while maintaining a positive employee experience.
• Manage a portfolio of Employee Relations cases, including performance, conduct, attendance, grievance and capability matters.
• Provide practical Employee Relations advice and guidance to managers at all levels.
• Conduct investigations and prepare clear, evidence-based investigation reports.
• Support managers through formal Employee Relations processes, ensuring consistency and compliance.
• Identify opportunities for early intervention and informal resolution where appropriate.
• Escalate complex or high-risk matters in line with the agreed operating framework.
