Job summary

Transmission Investment Services Ltd is seeking a People Advisor to support our people and managers, focusing on employee relations. You will partner with managers, handle complex cases, and provide pragmatic HR guidance across recruitment, onboarding, engagement and development.

The role sits in a small, collaborative People team with a hybrid London presence two days per week. You will bring significant ER experience, a solid grasp of UK employment law, and a proactive, solutions‑oriented

Qualifications

• Experience in a HR role, with employee relations forming a significant part of your responsibilities.
• Strong employee relations case management experience, including disciplinary and grievance processes.
• Sound knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Experience partnering with and coaching managers on people matters.
• A pragmatic, solutions-focused approach and the confidence to handle sensitive situations.
• Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• An interest in supporting the wider employee lifecycle, including recruitment, engagement and development activities.
• CIPD qualification would be advantageous

Responsibilities

• Managing employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, capability, performance and absence management matters.
• Partnering with managers to provide practical, commercially focused HR advice and guidance.
• Coaching managers on the application of company policies, procedures and employment law.
• Supporting recruitment, onboarding and other employee lifecycle activities.
• Contributing to employee engagement, wellbeing, learning and development initiatives.
• Supporting organisational change projects and wider People team priorities.
• Working closely with the Senior People Manager to deliver a positive employee experience and drive continuous improvement across HR processes.
