Job summary

Colbern Limited is seeking an experienced Employee Relations Officer to be based in Taunton. The role involves handling complex ER cases and providing strategic HR guidance. You will attend the County Hall office at least two days a week and support line managers with disciplinary, grievance, performance and sickness issues.

Required experience includes TUPE consultation, policy development, and data reporting. This contract role offers both PAYE and umbrella rate options within IR35 guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience in an HR environment with complex employee relations cases.
• Ability to manage grievances, disciplinaries, performance, sickness and restructures.
• Experience of TUPE consultation and negotiation.

Responsibilities

• Advise on disciplinary, grievance, performance and sickness issues.
• Produce and interpret data to support recommendations.
• Produce reports and management information with options and risks.
• Deliver training or presentations to management.
