Job summary

JD Sports Head Office in Bury is seeking an Employee Relations Advisor to deliver proactive ER support across Retail, Gyms, and Distribution. You will provide practical, compliant guidance to line managers and colleagues, applying up-to-date employment legislation.

Working in the Employee Relations team, you will coach managers, maintain accurate HR records, and ensure timely, fair outcomes. Travel to Kingsway and other Head Office locations is required.

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 5 qualification or demonstrated progression towards it.
• Extensive HR generalist experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of current employment legislation.

Responsibilities

• Provide first line employee relations advice to line managers and colleagues.
• Support management with disciplinary, grievances, and absence matters.
• Coach managers to resolve ER issues and maintain GDPR-compliant records.
• Liaise with Health and OH as needed.
