Job summary

JD Sports seeks an Employee Relations Advisor to deliver professional ER support across Retail, Gyms, and Head Office. You will advise Line Managers, assist with complex cases, and ensure compliant record-keeping within GDPR guidelines.

Key duties include coaching managers, maintaining timely People processes, and contributing to HR projects. CIPD Level 5 or equivalent is preferred, with strong knowledge of employment law and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent with strong experience in employee relations.
• Experience in a retail or fast-paced People environment is highly desirable.
• Excellent knowledge of current employment legislation and best practice.
• Ability to document interactions clearly and maintain accurate records.
• Strong communication and influencing skills, with ability to engage stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide first line employee relations advice to Line Managers and colleagues across Retail, Gyms, Supply Chain and Head Office.
• Coach Line Managers to manage and resolve ER matters through to appropriate conclusions.
• Maintain GDPR-compliant audit trails for all People records.
• Support timely execution of monthly and annual People processes.
• Assist with HR projects and cross-functional initiatives.
