Job summary

Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust is expanding its Employee Relations team to provide proactive ER services across its organisations. The role supports the wider ER function, building strong relationships with managers, staff and representatives while delivering tailored interventions.

The postholder will monitor policy compliance, analyse data for trends, and advise on attendance management strategies to meet local and national targets.

Qualifications

• Experience in absence management and policy interpretation.
• Ability to analyse workforce data to identify trends and hotspots.
• Skilled at advising managers and staff on terms, conditions and employment policies.

Responsibilities

• Work with the ER team to ensure absence management is well managed and communicated.
• Provide data analysis and reporting to monitor compliance with ER policy.
• Advise managers on attendance strategies and use workforce data to improve attendance.
• Support training for managers to enhance people management capabilities.
• Maintain accurate records of advice given and HR activities.
• Assist with hearings, appeals and investigation processes as required.
