Job summary

GIOS Technology seeks an Employee Development Lead to design, deliver and evaluate learning solutions at West Burton. This onsite role (3 days/week) focuses on building capability in a highly regulated engineering context.

You will analyse learning needs, implement career pathways and run development programmes, workshops and onboarding activities while using LMS analytics to drive continuous improvement and stakeholder value.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification in Learning & Development, HR, OD, Education, or related field.
• Proven experience designing, delivering and evaluating learning programmes within a complex organisation.
• Strong facilitation skills with workshops, onboarding, and development interventions.
• Experience managing LMS and digital learning platforms, including reporting and content administration.
• Ability to conduct learning needs analysis and translate requirements into learning solutions and career pathways.
• Strong stakeholder management, project management and communication skills with cross-disciplinary influence.
• Professional qualification such as CIPD Level 5/7 or equivalent accreditation.
• Experience developing organisational capability strategies and talent development initiatives.
• Experience in technical/regulated environments with knowledge of modern learning methods and apprenticeships.

• Proven experience designing, delivering and evaluating learning and development programmes within a complex organisation.
• Strong facilitation skills with experience delivering workshops, training programmes, onboarding activities and development interventions.
• Experience managing Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital learning platforms, including reporting, learner engagement and content administration.
• Ability to conduct learning needs analysis and translate organisational requirements into effective learning solutions, career pathways and capability-building initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management, project management and communication skills, with the ability to influence across multidisciplinary teams and use learning data to drive continuous improvement.
• Professional qualification such as CIPD Level 5/7, Learning & Development certification, coaching qualification, or equivalent accreditation.
• Experience developing organisational capability strategies, early careers programmes, and talent development initiatives.
• Experience working within technical, engineering, scientific, manufacturing, infrastructure, or other highly regulated environments.
• Knowledge of modern learning methodologies and technologies, including e-learning development, learning analytics, talent management, organisational change, and apprenticeship or UK skills frameworks.
