This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented individual with experience in employee benefits, pensions or group risk administration to play a key role in supporting consultants, maintaining high service standards and building strong client relationships.

The Role

As an Employee Benefits Administrator, you will provide essential administrative and operational support to Employee Services Consultants and Directors, ensuring client requirements are met accurately, efficiently and within agreed timescales.

You will manage a varied workload across employee benefits schemes, pensions and group risk, while helping to maintain compliance, improve processes and support the development of junior team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide accurate and timely administration for new, existing and complex employee benefits schemes.
  • Maintain up-to-date client records and ensure clear audit trails are in place.
  • Manage auto-enrolment compliance across pension schemes.
  • Coordinate annual renewals and market reviews for group risk and SME schemes.
  • Process and monitor claims, keeping clients and consultants informed of progress.
  • Manage monthly payments and ensure pension contributions are accurate.
  • Prepare for client governance and pre-renewal meetings, completing follow-up actions as required.
  • Liaise with clients, insurers, pension providers and consultants to ensure contractual obligations are met.
  • Check and issue policy documentation and maintain accurate compliance documents.
  • Support the implementation of Employee Assistance Programmes and prepare employee announcement letters.
  • Draft reports, presentations and proposition documents for consultants.
  • Maintain internal spreadsheets, systems and opportunity records.
  • Assist with workflow management, process improvements and the development of templates and documentation.
  • Support, train and develop junior colleagues to improve team efficiency and service delivery.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Experience providing accurate and timely administrative support, ideally within employee benefits, pensions, insurance or group risk.
  • A good understanding of pension and group risk administration.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent organisational, prioritisation and time-management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good IT skills and confidence working with data and internal systems.
  • The ability to manage a busy workload and meet deadlines.
  • A professional approach, with a strong commitment to client service and integrity.
  • The ability to build positive working relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • A proactive attitude, with a willingness to learn, develop and improve processes.
