Job summary

Oakmoor Recruitment Ltd. is seeking an Employability Tutor to join our Leeds centre. You will deliver Employability Level 1 & 2 in a classroom setting, set targets with learners and monitor progress within the programme.

The role is full-time and permanent, based in Leeds, with a 8.30am - 4.30pm schedule, Monday to Friday. Starting salary is 27k–28k, with an excellent benefits package and long-term career prospects.

Qualifications

• Classroom delivery experience required.
• AET or above teaching qualification or assessor qualification required.

Responsibilities

• Review learners progress in line with contractual requirements and company systems.
• Identify learners' support needs (Functional Skills and Soft Skills)
• Evaluate and document learner progress and attainment.
• Ensure learners meet targets and demonstrate progress toward goals.
• Set and agree targets with learners to progress through the programme and provide written/verbal feedback.

Overview: Employability Tutor

Reporting to the Curriculum Manager, this role will require the successful candidate to set targets with learners to develop and progress through their Employability programme.

Learners will be studying towards Employability Level 1 & 2 qualifications, in a classroom setting.

The role is Centre based in Leeds and is a full-time, permanent position.

Monday - Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm

Qualifications and Competencies: Employability Tutor

Essential:

• Previous classroom delivery experience
• AET or above teaching qualification (PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS, CertEd, PGCE)

OR

• Assessor qualification (CAVA, TAQA, A1, D32 etc)

Purpose of the role: Employability Tutor

• Classroom based teaching delivery role
• Employability Level 1 and 2
• Functional Skills delivery up to Level 1
• Maintain standards in accordance with guidelines set by the DfE
• Manage administration of company systems, procedures and responsibilitiesMaintain delivery standards in accordance with the Common Inspection Framework (CIF) and formulate development plans for ongoing improvement

Duties/Responsibilities: Employability Tutor
