Job summary

Cambridgeshire County Council delivers employability projects across Cambridgeshire and seeks relief Employability Support Workers to help adults with disabilities gain skills and work experience through practical learning opportunities. You will assist with baking, payments, and customer service, often in lone-working scenarios, with hours 8.50am–4pm, Monday to Friday and a comprehensive benefits package.

This role focuses on fostering independence and preparing trainees for voluntary or paid

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer facing role is preferred.
• Able to respond to emergencies and challenging situations promptly.
• Experience baking cakes and pastries is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support with baking and preparing products for sale.
• Handle payments and promote excellent customer service.
• Provide practical support and encouragement to trainees.
• Potential lone-working responsibilities with minimal supervision.
