Job description

Job Title: Employability Skills Tutor

We currently have a vacancy for an Employability Skills Tutor to join our Manchester team. Our Tutors are responsible for planning, preparing, and teaching a range of knowledge and skills to support learners. Additionally, tutors support learners throughout their learning journey with vocational and employability skills, including English, Maths, Digital skills, and personal development.

Your role involves providing valuable input to our quality-approved schemes of work, session plans, and delivery resources for both classroom-led sector and employer-led courses. The key focus is on delivering quality facilitation, teaching, learning, and assessment that encourage and motivate learners to stay engaged and progress into employment.

You will deliver employability training and provide employability support, developing learning resources and flexible learning strategies to meet course aims. We welcome applications from individuals seeking part-time or job-share roles. We offer flexible working hours, including evening and weekend options, which will be discussed further at the interview stage.

Qualifications and Experience

• Level 3 Teaching qualification (e.g., AET, PTLLS, CertEd) – Essential
• Assessing qualification Level 3 or equivalent – Desirable
