Location: Remote

Salary: Up to £35,000 (depending on experience) - 23 Days Holiday, Bank Holidays, Healthcare Plan

The Role

We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Customer Service Tutor to deliver employability training to job seekers across the UK through virtual classrooms. You will excel in delivering dynamic and engaging sessions while being passionate about guiding learners toward successfully achieving their qualifications and securing long-term employment.

Duties

• Deliver engaging online training sessions to groups of learners working towards an accredited qualification, assessing their strengths and areas for improvement through initial assessments and providing tailored support.
• Inspire and motivate learners using flexible teaching methods in an online environment, following TLA plans while adapting them to your style, creating a positive and encouraging learning experience.
• Support learners in developing essential English, Maths, and ICT skills, focusing on communication abilities and confidence in telephone manner.
• Regularly review, update, and enhance course materials, lesson plans, and schemes of work.
• Work towards internal and external audits.

Required Skills

• Minimum of 3 years relevant industrial or commercial experience, with prior training delivery experience.
• PGCE/CertEd/QTS or L4 teaching qualification, along with relevant subject qualifications and GCSEs in Maths & English.
• Ability to do occasional classroom delivery within the local area (Birmingham, Leeds, London, Manchester, Stockton-on-Tees).

Due to the nature of this role, an enhanced DBS check is required, and regular travel across the region is expected; access to your own vehicle is essential.
