Join Our Team as a Careers Adviser at Career Connect

Are you interested in making a difference in young people's lives? Career Connect is seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Careers Adviser to join our community team in Manchester.

Role Overview

As a Careers Adviser, you will engage with 16–18-year-olds who are not in education, employment, or training (NEET), helping them identify their career goals and access training and employment opportunities. The role is based at The Millennium Powerhouse in Moss Side, with flexible working across various community venues in Manchester.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a personable individual capable of building meaningful relationships, understanding young people's strengths, overcoming barriers, and inspiring a better future. Strong communication, time management, and the ability to travel independently are essential.

Benefits

• Salary: £26,485 – £30,012 per annum for a 35-hour week
• Holidays: 25 days + Bank Holidays, with additional days for longer service and a birthday day off
