Job summary

EIAT is seeking a Level 3 Employability Coach for The Hive College in Erdington, Birmingham. The role is permanent, 32.5 hours per week, term time only, with a SEN allowance and enhanced DBS checks.

The candidayte will support students aged 19-25 with SEND, mentoring, pastoral care and workplace guidance. The successful candidate will hold an NVQ Level 3 Vocational or Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) and GCSE English/Maths at C or above.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Vocational or Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
• GCSE English and Maths at Grade C or above (or equivalent).
• Good understanding of how students learn and develop in education.

Responsibilities

• Support the work placement team to meet students' needs, including mentoring and pastoral care.
• Assist with the physical care of students when required.
• Work with individuals and small groups to promote learning and development.
