Job summary

The WEA is seeking an Into Work Advisor to support learners moving into work placements and employment in Manchester and surrounding Lancashire. You will coordinate available and potential work opportunities and provide high quality customer service to learners and employers.

Working with the Relationship Lead, you will identify and partner with employers to secure work placements and jobs, helping learners overcome barriers and progress in their careers.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting learners into work placements is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills for employers and learners.
• Ability to coordinate placements and opportunities with partners.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate available and potential work placements and job opportunities.
• Provide high quality motivational support to learners.
• Work with Relationship Lead to engage employers and secure opportunities.

The Into Work Advisor provides high quality and motivational support to learners moving into work placements and employment. You will coordinate available and potential work placement and job opportunities for learners.

You will support learners to overcome personal and professional barriers to progression whilst providing excellent customer service to employers and other agencies. Working alongside the Relationship Lead to identify and partner with employers to secure work placements and job opportunities.
