Job summary

Remedy Education is seeking a compassionate Behaviour Teaching Assistant for a SEN secondary school in Enfield. The role involves supporting students with additional needs, delivering 1:1 or small-group learning support, and helping with emotional regulation.

You will collaborate with teachers, therapists, the SENCO, and pastoral staff to provide consistent support, building strong relationships and maintaining clear boundaries to help students thrive.

Qualifications

• Calm, patient and resilient demeanor.
• Experience with SEN/SEMH and behaviour support is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supporting students on a 1:1 basis or in small groups with learning and emotional regulation
• Providing calm, consistent support during challenging moments and helping students re-engage with learning
• Building positive relationships that encourage trust, confidence, and independence
• Working closely with teachers, therapists, the SENCO, and pastoral staff to provide consistent support
• Encouraging positive behaviour through patience, structure, and clear expectations
• Recognising and celebrating every achievement, no matter how small
