Remedy Recruitment Group are working with a welcoming SEN secondary school in Redbridge that is looking for a compassionate and resilient Behaviour Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team. As a Behaviour Teaching Assistant, you'll support students 1:1 or in small groups, help with emotional regulation, and work

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people in SEN, SEMH, behaviour support, youth work, care, or similar settings.
• Ability to build strong relationships while maintaining clear boundaries.
• Genuine passion for supporting students with additional needs.

Responsibilities

• Supporting students on a 1:1 basis or in small groups with their learning and emotional regulation
• Providing calm, consistent support during challenging moments and helping students re-engage with learning
• Building positive relationships that encourage trust, confidence, and independence
• Working closely with teachers, therapists, the SENCO, and pastoral staff to provide consistent support
• Encouraging positive behaviour through patience, structure, and clear expectations
• Recognising and celebrating every achievement, no matter how small
