Job summary

Aspris is recruiting a Bank Teaching Assistant for Radio City School. The role supports the teaching team, helping pupils with work and managing emotions, while modelling positive behaviours and forming strong relationships with learners.

The post is based at Radio City School with possible travel to other locations. Driving license would be beneficial but not essential; safeguarding checks and references are required as part of application.

Qualifications

• Experience with children and young people is desirable.
• Experience supporting pupils with additional needs is preferred.
• Willingness to engage in safeguarding practices.
• Commitment to ongoing training and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Support the teaching team to ensure a safe, engaging learning environment.
• Assist with planned learning activities as directed by the class teacher.
• Promote positive behaviour in line with school policies.
• Assist with day-to-day care and safeguarding of children and young people.
• Work collaboratively with school staff and other agencies to address needs.
• Contribute to Wellbeing Action Plans for individual pupils.
• Undertake continuing professional development.
• Carry out other duties related to the Teaching Assistant role.
