Job summary

Kingsbrook School, part of Aspris Children’s Services, is recruiting Teaching Assistants to join our Education team. You will support across key stages, assist with pupils’ work and behaviour, and act as a role model while building positive relationships with learners and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting in a classroom setting is preferred.
• Experience with students with complex needs is preferable.

Kingsbrook School are recruiting for Teaching Assistants to join our Education team

We are looking for versatile, resilient and committed Teaching Assistants, who can adapt their practice wherever necessary to support across all key stages. The successful candidate will work alongside the class teacher, assisting the children with their work and supporting with pupil behaviour while establishing good relationships with pupils, acting as a role model and responding to individual needs.

Kingsbrook School is a small specialist independent school for 11-18 year old students with social, emotional, mental health difficulties and complex learning needs. Kingsbrook School is a unique setting within a small holding, so a love of animals is a must. Experience of working with students with complex needs is preferrable as is a good understanding of the emotional and attachment needs of children.

The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience supporting in a classroom setting, however this is not required.
