Egerton CP School invites a Level 2 Teaching Assistant with a SEN allowance to join our inclusive team. You will support pupils with EHCPs in KS1/KS2 under the guidance of the class teacher and SENDCO, on a short-fixed term basis with potential extension.

The successful candidate will bring patience, empathy, and a calm, flexible approach, with experience or qualifications in SEND. NVQ2 or equivalent in teaching assistance is required, or a commitment to working towards it.

Qualifications

• Experience of supporting young children with learning, social and emotional difficulties.
• An ability to build positive relationships and collaborate with staff.
• Willingness to work towards NVQ2 or equivalent if not held already.

Responsabilités

• Support individual pupils with EHCPs in KS1 and KS2 under the guidance of the class teacher and SENDCO.
• Assist with the delivery of an inclusive curriculum and targeted interventions.
• Contribute to a calm, nurturing environment that supports attendance and engagement.
