Academics is recruiting an enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistant to join an OFSTED Outstanding school in Warrington from September. This role suits someone with experience supporting pupils with moderate to severe SEN and knowledge of ASD communication and sensory needs.

You will support pupils' physical, social and emotional development, help teachers prepare lessons and arrange classrooms before and after lessons.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with SEND.
• Understanding of ASD communication and sensory needs is desirable.
• Enhanced DBS check required.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils' physical, social and emotional development.
• Assist teachers to organise lessons and identify areas for improvement.
• Prepare classrooms before and after lessons, including cleaning up.
