Job summary

CERT Solutions Ltd are seeking strong SEN Teaching Assistants to join a fantastic SEN school in Oldbury. The role supports pupils aged 11 to 19 with severe, profound and complex learning needs.

You will work 1:1 and in small groups, assisting teachers to deliver inclusive lessons and manage academic, social, emotional and behavioural needs.   • Minimum Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject (e.g. Supporting Teaching and Learning, Childcare, Education, or SEN)
  • Previous experience working in a school setting as a SEN Teaching Assistant
  • Strong understanding of special educational needs
  • Patience, empathy, and a commitment to supporting pupils with additional needs

Responsibilities

  • Provide tailored support to pupils with SEN on a 1:1 and small-group basis
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
