Job summary

CERT Solutions are seeking strong and qualified SEN Teaching Assistants to work at a fantastic SEN school in Oldbury. This specialist provision school supports pupils aged 11 to 19 with severe, profound and complex learning needs and medical needs.

The role involves 1:1 and small-group support, assisting teachers, and helping create a safe, nurturing learning environment. Applicants should have Level 2 or 3 in a relevant subject and prior school experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject (e.g. Supporting Teaching and Learning, Childcare, Education, or SEN).
• Previous experience working in a school setting as a SEN Teaching Assistant.
• Strong understanding of special educational needs.

Requirements

• Patience, empathy, and a commitment to supporting pupils with additional needs
