Job summary

The role involves 1:1 and small-group support, assisting teachers, and helping create a safe, nurturing learning environment. Applicants should have Level 2 or 3 in a relevant subject and prior school experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject (e.g. Supporting Teaching and Learning, Childcare, Education, or SEN).
• Previous experience working in a school setting as a SEN Teaching Assistant.
• Strong understanding of special educational needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored support to pupils with SEN on a 1:1 and small-group basis.
• Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
• Support pupils with academic, social, emotional, and behavioural needs.
• Help create a safe, nurturing, and positive learning environment.
