Pertemps Leeds in Huddersfield is seeking a Claims Advisor to join its growing legal services team. The role is full-time and permanent with a starting salary of £25,000 and excellent benefits.

You will be the first point of contact for personal injury claims, handling calls, gathering information, and guiding customers through the initial claims journey. This fast-paced, telephone-based position requires empathy, clarity and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 GCSEs, including Maths and English.
• Previous experience handling customer calls is essential.
• Experience within a fast-paced customer service environment is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
• Ability to build rapport and demonstrate empathy with customers.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.

Responsibilities

• Handling inbound and outbound customer calls.
• Taking detailed information regarding potential claims.
• Assessing claim viability against established criteria.
• Accurately updating case management systems.
• Supporting customers throughout the initial claims process.
• Liaising with internal teams to ensure smooth claim progression.
• Providing a professional, empathetic and customer-focused service at all times.
• Supporting legal teams with administrative tasks where required.
