Job summary

Eden Futures is recruiting Female Specialist Support Workers to join our Supported Living services, supporting individuals in their own homes and in the community. Roles are paid at £13.20 per hour, based on a 42-hour week; annual figures are shown for illustration and will be pro rata'd by actual hours.

We partner with individuals to help them live as independently as possible, with opportunities for learning and development and a clear path to career progression in care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6–12 months care experience for Specialist roles.
• Values-driven approach and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Support service users to lead a full and active life in line with their wishes and care plans.
• Safeguard welfare and protect from abuse wherever possible.
• Provide emotional support with a person-centred approach.
• Assist with finances, medication, personal care and practical tasks at home.
• Act as contact for families and social workers within the service users' circle of support.
• Accurately report and record care-related issues to monitor health and wellbeing.
• Comply with Health and Safety regulations and welfare of others.
