Job summary

Capital Group in London seeks an Investment Product Specialist to provide subject-matter expertise on fixed income, with a focus on Emerging Markets Debt. You will partner with Investment Directors and internal teams to translate complex investment concepts into practical internal messaging and client-ready content.

You will build investment narratives, support product development, and collaborate across Europe, Asia and North America to drive growth and ensure high-quality partnerships.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in asset management with exposure to an investment team environment
• Strong fixed income knowledge, especially emerging markets debt
• Excellent communication skills to distill complex concepts into clear messaging
• Experience using fixed income portfolio management tools and market platforms such as Bloomberg
• Organised, detail-oriented and able to deliver accurate investment insights on time
• Collaborative and comfortable working with multiple regions to support shared outcomes
• CFA preferred

Responsibilities

• Represent Capital Group’s fixed income capabilities across client activities
• Act as subject matter expert for Emerging Markets Debt with internal stakeholders
• Develop investment narratives, product messaging and thought leadership
• Provide timely investment content to support meetings, campaigns and updates
• Support sales strategy and distribution through product advocacy
• Conduct market and competitor analysis to inform client messaging
• Support fixed income initiatives and strategic projects
• Collaborate across Capital Group’s Europe, Asia and North America teams
