Job summary

Capital Group seeks an Investment Product Specialist to partner with Investment Directors and internal teams, delivering deep knowledge of fixed income and emerging markets debt. The role emphasizes synthesising complex data into practical insights for client and marketing activities.

You will work across regions, contribute to investment narratives, and support product development while engaging with internal and external stakeholders to drive growth and client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of fixed income markets and a range of fixed income strategies, ideally with direct EM debt experience.
• Excellent communication skills to distill technical concepts for diverse audiences.
• Experience using fixed income portfolio management tools and market platforms (e.g., Bloomberg).

Responsibilities

• Represent Capital Group’s fixed income capabilities across client activities.
• Serve as SME for EMD strategies with internal stakeholders; participate in external client engagements as needed.
• Contribute to investment narratives, product messaging and thought leadership by drafting content for regional needs.
• Ensure timely investment content to support meetings, campaigns, product updates and client engagement activities.
• Support sales strategy and distribution through product advocacy and collaboration with Client Group.
• Conduct market and competitor analysis to inform product positioning and messaging.”
• Support fixed income business initiatives including product development and strategic projects.
• Build relationships across Capital Group’s Europe, Asia and North America teams to deliver high-quality partnership.
